Helping parents reconnect with their children through compassionate, practical support.

Experiencing a challenging relationship with your child?

Feeling worn down by the balancing act of parenting, work and everyday life?

You're not alone, and you don't have to navigate it by yourself.

Parenting can feel overwhelming, especially when connection feels out of reach.

Every family experiences difficult seasons.

Maybe conversations turn into arguments. Maybe you're constantly walking on eggshells. Or perhaps you're doing everything you can to support your child, but nothing seems to be making a difference.

When things feel this hard, it's easy to question yourself.

You don't need to have all the answers.

Together, we'll explore what's really going on, build on the strengths you already have and find calmer, more connected ways forward.

Calm doesn't come from having all the answers.

It comes from feeling supported.

I work with parents using the Connective Parenting NVR (Non-Violent Resistance) approach, helping you respond to challenging behaviour without force, threats or shouting.

This isn't about blame or judgement.

It's about helping you feel more confident, strengthening your relationship with your child and finding practical ways forward that feel right for your family.

What is Connective Parenting NVR?

Connective Parenting NVR (Non-Violent Resistance) is an approach that helps parents respond to challenging behaviour calmly, without force, threats or shouting.

Rather than trying to control behaviour, it focuses on strengthening relationships, increasing parental confidence and creating lasting change through connection.

It's a compassionate, evidence-informed approach that helps families move forwards together.

Katie Davis-Clifford -Connective Parenting Coach

Hi, I'm Katie.

I'm a parent, too, so I understand how emotionally exhausting parenting can sometimes feel.

Alongside my professional work in child and family mental health, I support parents through Connective Parenting NVR, helping them rebuild connection when relationships feel strained.

My approach is gentle, strengths-based and completely judgement-free.

Rather than telling you what you "should" be doing, I'll work alongside you to help you recognise what's already working, understand what's beneath the behaviour and find a way forward that feels achievable for your family.

Because every family is different, and every parent deserves to feel supported.

How I Can Help

Speaking & Podcasts

I'm passionate about helping more families discover the Connective Parenting NVR approach.

I enjoy speaking at events and joining podcasts to share practical insights, honest conversations and real-life experiences around parenting, connection and relationships.

Support for Working Parents & Organisations

Parenting doesn't stop when the working day begins.

I work with individuals and organisations to support working parents who are trying to balance family life alongside their careers, helping them feel understood, supported and better equipped to manage the challenges they face.
